The Study Fresh Foundation is going to equip young learners to succeed in the Philippines.

Hello, We're pleased to be promoting resilience, mental fitness and literacy in a nation who's young people deserve to better their opportunities in life. Young people can get a step up with Study Skills and accelerating their learning.

Why Study Fresh?

Study Fresh is new approach to providing educational opportunities, and we seek to constantly develop and respond to positive outcomes and the needs of the communities in which we teach.

Traditionally these study skills and life-skills are not taught and even in the western world many young people have never 'learned how to learn', operate their mind effectively or map out their future.
Our goal is to have these empowering skills passed on from student to student through everyday peer interaction.

Using techology, story telling, informal teaching settings and following an early intervention model we primarily target poor 'at risk' students in the Philippines.
Keen to formalize this training we are creating The Study Fresh Foundation and we hope you will support our project by donating and help us to effect real change.
Imagination and innovation through the mind of a child can produce a ripple effect for future opportunities for the nation. Filipinos are renound for their tanacity and ability to adapt.

Right Here - Right Now

We recognize that our investment should be in the next generation and all our resources are focussed in young people.

Developing effective study skills, improving reading comprehension, discovering their own personal study style, learning to manage their time more efficiently and learning the best way to prepare for exams are just a few of the topics covered in Study Fresh Classes and Workshops.

We also teach pathway planning, career planing and Goal Mapping to students in senior high schools.

Study fresh aims to be a self sustaining training organization and is currently fundraising to establish our first purpose built training space which we will call 'Fresh Aralan'. Aralan is a word in the Philippines to mean "a place to study or to learn".

In the mean time we are reaching out and teaching students in the metro Manila area for free.

Internet Cafes - Gaming and E-Learning?

Observing the behavior of young people here in Manila has inspried a really cool idea.
Can we use Second Life to engage young people in a gaming like environment?
Each day hundreds of thousands of kids are hitting local Internet cafes to play multi-player online games.
What if we were to provide such a space where they could learn in a familiar environment?

Passion and Purpose

A husband and wife team, Bing and I are on a mission to engage students with some life long learning tools.

Study Fresh Foundation is currently being set up and you can now help support our training by sponsoring a class.

Typically a class here in the Philippines is comprised of 50 students. Your donation of $50.00 USD will teach a class and that's just over a dollar a student.

We aim to raise $1000.00 USD per month (10 classes) each month so please dig deep if you can support us.

We will post a video for all to see in early September and update the outcomes of this first stage of our inspiring project.
